Pastoral COVID19 Update (March 18th, 2020)

A NOTE FROM PASTOR HUBERT D. HUTCHERSON As Pastor of the Shiloh Community Missionary Baptist Church, my first responsibility is to seek God’s answer as for how we should proceed considering all that is going on with the Coronavirus Pandemic. Ephesians 5:15-17 - 15See then that we walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16Redeeming the time, because the days are evils.  17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. We are suspending all church activities for the next two weeks.  Depending on the day by day progress, we are anticipating being able to hold Worship Service on Sunday, April 5, 2020. So as of today, Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 there will not be any food ministry, choir rehearsals, church services, AA meetings, NA meetings, Revival Services, and LENTEN services are all cancelled.  If I left anything out, please forgive me, but the Church will suspend all operations for the next two weeks. We will do a LIVE Sunday Service broadcast on our Facebook page. In the meantime, please stay home, pray, be safe, and we will be checking the mailbox regularly for those who would like to send in their tithes to the church.  You can also give online by visiting www.shilohcommunitypgh.org/giving. You can also give via text by typing “SCMBC” to 77977 from your smartphone. II Chronicles 7:14 – If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Remember “Through Christ It Can be Done”!
